If you’ve visited this site in the past, you may notice it now looks rather different. I’m in the process of slowly converting it into a resource for philosophy as a manner of living. This, by the way, means an embodied pursuit of and personal development in truth, goodness, and so forth. Or put differently, a manner of living suited to bring about the most genuine experience of freedom and happiness.
On that topic, see my Wise & Shine post Philosophy as an Art of Living.
(I say “converting” because this site began as an online presence for my philosophical counseling (or consultation) services, although I had hoped from the start to develop the website eventually into a larger resource.)
One major feature of this conversion will be a continually developing page of important books and other resources. I won’t just be adding titles, I’ll also be creating short summaries for the resources page itself, plus longer reviews and related articles that will be linked within this Books / Resources page.
Another feature will be occasional articles which are more suited to this present website (at philosophicadvising.com) than they are to Wise and Shine, which is the wonderful multi-contributer website where the majority of my writing currently appears.
